Design Houses International, LLC (DHI) designs, manufactures, and assembles light gauge steel framing studs, track, wall panels and trusses for the residential and commercial construction industry.
DHI utilizes a highly automated, proprietary technology system to produce all of its light gauge steel products, allowing a relatively small labor force to produce a large quantity of product very quickly.
Pre-assembled wall panel and truss components allow for rapid and efficient on-site construction and the resulting reduction in construction costs.
The DHI production process uses advanced engineering software for designs and the digitization of equipment instructions and highly automated equipment for the ultra-efficient manufacturing and assembly of studs, track, floor joists, wall panels and trusses.
The wall panel production system utilizes a proprietary press-joining connecting method for light gauge steel structures. This method reduces the need for screws, rivets or bolts, as a single clinching connector replaces eight sheet metal screws. With a crew of just three operators, the DHI production line can produce an average-sized wall panel in minutes. All of the steel component designs are controlled by a Computer Aided Design (CAD) software system, allowing custom components to be easily produced.
The DHI wall line produces studs, track, floor joists, and fully assembled wall panels and the truss line produces complete roof truss components. Our manufacturing system is a fully automated, CAD-CAM controlled, integrated steel frame panel fabrication process.
The company produces light steel gauge roof trusses and wall panels that are custom generated through CAD software, allowing operators to modify, reschedule or change a design with the stroke of a computer keyboard. The panels produced are accurate to within one-one hundredth of an inch, an accuracy that eliminates many of the problems associated with manual assembly techniques. Best of all, the panels are assembled at the factory and delivered ready to erect to the job site. |
